Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project seeks Deputy State Coordinators in Arizona, Florida, and North Carolina. Deputy State Coordinators are key members of our team. They are charged with working with the State Coordinator with the Democracy Fellowship and the planning of state summits. Deputy State Coordinators work to recruit and support campuses in the Voter Friendly Campus program. They also assist in recruiting and supervising “Democracy Fellows,” student positions committed to carrying out democratic engagement programs at their colleges or universities. Democracy Fellows coordinate with administration and faculty, helping organize student voter registration, voter education, and voter turnout activities.
The ideal candidate has a passion for voting rights with a particular interest in helping college students access our democracy, is committed to building relationships, and has knowledge of voting rules and regulations.
The position is a remote full-time temporary position from June 3, 2024 through December 31, 2024. Salary is $4,333.33/month with limited benefits including vacation and sick leave and cell phone and internet stipends.
